The people overtook the parliament and tonight voted no confidence in the cabinet. An unprecedented number of Bulgarians of all ages and parties did it in the squares of Sofia, Plovdiv, Varna, Burgas...all over Bulgaria and in Europe.
This is what President Rumen Radev wrote on "Facebook".
The protest gave birth to a broad popular anti-mafia consensus, which is more important than all differences, than all attempts to appropriate hope.
Dear Members of Parliament,
Tomorrow you choose between the dignity of a free vote and the disgrace of addictions.
Between the voice of the people and the fear of the mafia. Listen to the squares!
It's your turn!
My choice is clear.
