GERB never once named the real problem. This protest as a reason started with the budget. But we have reason to be proud, because the protest was not because of 2% social security contributions, it was not because of the dividend, but because of the trampled dignity of our people. This was commented on in the studio of "The Day Begins with Georgi Lyubenov" on BNT by the MP from the PG of the PP-DB Yavor Bojankov.
„And our people clearly stated from Sofia through Kyustendil, Sliven, Plovdiv to Varna, all of Bulgaria said that they will no longer allow anyone to trample the dignity of the Bulgarian people. A whole young, new generation declared it, middle class, free people, employers and no one expected it. This arrogance met no resistance, it met a categorical response and our people said that it will not continue like this anymore - this is the clear message“, explained the MP.
According to him, GERB is revolving around the budget issue, DPS-New Beginning has not given any signal that they realize anything, and “There is such a people“ and the BSP, unfortunately, are brazen with even greater force than two weeks earlier.
No lesson has been learned and from now on the big question is how we continue. What did they not get… This supreme, supreme, inhuman arrogance is what brought down the government. Nothing else. They are obviously incapable of change and change will happen, despite them, added Bozhankov.
According to him, the right of one person to a fair trial was taken away, but this does not only concern the mayor of Varna, but everyone - regardless of whether they are a public figure or a businessman.
„Everyone in Bulgaria understood that they can be crushed, once put in that meat grinder. The second time - committees for 20-30 seconds and they say: „We don't care about the opinion of business, we don't care what people say and we will form our committees for 15-20 seconds, if we want even for five seconds“. Microphones were breaking at that notorious budget committee… "This was already the real face and I said from the podium that the ruling party returned to its factory settings because it was ruling in a situation of a divided opposition," he further commented.
Before a possible future political project of President Rumen Radev, which has been talked about for years, there are two main problems, Bozhankov believes, and explained that the first is his geopolitical orientation, and the second is “Botash“.
Yavor Bozhankov also said that if we want fair elections, a change must be made in the election rules and this must be guaranteed 100% with both participants in sections and observers, but also with changes to the Election Code.
