The amendments to the NSO Law to eliminate the security of deputies are submitted for discussion for first reading in the parliamentary committee on internal security, BNT reports. The amendments are submitted by members of parliament from the PP-DB.
The motives of the submitted bill state that the texts in the law that give the right to NSO security to members of parliament and other persons important for the country's national security should be repealed. Yesterday, the PP-DB again demanded that the security that Boyko Borisov and Delyan Peevski use from the NSO be removed.
Later yesterday, the press center of “DPS – Novo nacho“ sent a position to the media on the topic. It states that a total of four NSO employees provide security for Delyan Peevski, and the car used is the property of the party and was provided for temporary and free use by the NSO on the basis of a contract and in accordance with the legislation.
