GERB leader Boyko Borisov published a statement on his official Facebook profile with another appeal to GERB representatives in the Municipal Election Commission (MEC) in Varna and sharp criticism of the Commission for Combating Corruption and for the Confiscation of Illegally Acquired Property (KPKONPI).
"I insist that the members elected by GERB in the MEC-Varna not participate in any meetings related to the removal of the mayor of Varna", Borisov stated, quoted by Dariknews.bg.
"And the fact that KONPI wants it, to block it, because all my trust and that of GERB has already been exhausted. This commission should not exist, because nothing, nothing is left in it", he added.
