A warning for dangerously strong gusts, with speeds up to about 90 km/h, remains in effect in almost the entire country.
There will also be light snowfalls at night, mainly in the mountainous and northeastern regions.
The minimum temperatures tomorrow will be between minus 5° and 2°, in Sofia – around minus 3°.
It will remain very windy during the day, with dangerously strong gusts in almost the entire country. Only in the afternoon will the wind begin to weaken.
The maximum temperatures will be between 4° and 9°, in Sofia – around 4°, on the Black Sea coast from 5° to 7°, but the wind will create the feeling of colder than the actual weather.
After the cloudy start in the mountainous and northeastern regions, in the second half of the day it will be sunny in almost the entire country.
A temporarily stormy northwest wind will continue to blow in the mountains, but it will also be mostly sunny there.
Sunny weather will prevail in the coming days.
After a temporary warming on Tuesday, a new cold snap is expected on the last day of the year. On New Year's Eve, isolated light snowfalls are not ruled out, mainly in the mountainous regions.
By midnight, temperatures in the country will be from minus 8° in places in Western Bulgaria to minus 1° in the eastern regions. A gradual warming is expected during the first two days of the new year.
