This was said in a video statement on his Facebook profile by GERB leader and former Prime Minister Boyko Borisov.
"European Commissioner for Economic Affairs Valdis Dombrovskis said that the year is starting well, and the introduction of the euro in Bulgaria marks a historic moment for the country, for the eurozone and for the EU. That is, to the heart of Europe, where they want to take us, and we are already there! What do they say in the heart of Europe, namely the Eurozone? “We welcome the smooth transition from the lev to the euro, this is due to the extensive technical preparation and the explanatory campaign undertaken by the Bulgarian authorities”. This was stated by the European Commissioner for Economy”, points out Borisov.

Today, the Eurozone countries have clearly shown that our efforts are appreciated, and the compromises that GERB made are worth it, because this only brings benefits to Bulgaria! Let the others practice and try, let them follow the path trodden by us, they are welcome in the heart of Europe. We are waiting for them there", adds the GERB leader.
