Slavi Vassilev: Radev has clearly expressed his positions on the euro and Ukraine, he will show his full potential

If I receive an invitation from Rumen Radev, I will join because I have believed in him for many years. If not - I feel comfortable in my life as an analyst and I will continue to do so. This was announced by analyst Slavi Vassilev to BNT, quoted by novini.bg.

„He has not said anything about a party yet. We have to see how he will realize his intentions, because he is not resigning as president to remain in non-existence. People have been expecting him to do what he did for many years," he said.

According to him, it was not easy for Radev to fight against the status quo from the position of president, in which he has no power resources, and over the years the political elite has constantly turned against him.

„The president has clearly expressed his positions regarding Ukraine, the euro. We know more or less what he thinks. The prosecutor's office had the opportunity to investigate „Botas” and other things. I expect Radev to become a target of everything he can shoot. Everyone will become very active“, Vassilev also said.

He disputed the words of Gen. Atanas Atanasov that Radev has not been on official visits to major Western countries in Europe.

„Botas” is not a problem. He is not $500,000 a day. It is a reserved capacity, which means that Bulgaria can become a factor that supplies gas to Central and Eastern Europe. We ourselves can trade liquefied gas. This is an energy strategy that I hope Radev will develop. I assure you that Radev will not leave the issue like that, but will show the full potential of “Botas”, Vassilev also said.
