Sixth day without heating in Veliko Tarnovo. The reason is the network failures. Household subscribers from more than 15 streets and from various departments are without heating, bTV recalls.
86-year-old Penka Marinova has relied on the heating in her panel house for decades. Because of the cold radiators, she is currently heating with electricity.
„I caught a cold at home, it's very cold, come in and see how it is! All the stoves are on - both in the kitchen and in the living room! And then I will pay electricity, I will pay heating - it doesn't matter, my pension is minimal, I don't have hot water“, she says.
An employee on duty told bTV that the teams were working to fix the accident:
“Basically, around 12:00, we agreed with our colleagues to call where they were on site, to see how far they had come“,
In a position next to bTV from “Toplofikatsiya“ reported that the accident could not be repaired, as the burst pipes fall on private property and the owner refuses access.
On Friday, the company notified the police, prosecutor's office and the municipality and is waiting for the teams to be allowed to the accident.
„We called - there was an accident, supposedly we will turn it on today, but let's see... but the electricity and heating are working - we pay! Their bills are not small. This month, almost - not every month, we are still in an accident!“, says pensioner Mara Ivanova.
There are about 3,000 residential subscribers of „Toplofikatsiya“ in Veliko Tarnovo. The company assures that they will be compensated for the days they did not have heating.
