Plamen Dimitrov on the euro: I miss the heavy hand of the state as a regulator - 1

I miss the sanctions, because we see a lot of violations. I read somewhere that they are only in the amount of 200,000 euros.

This was said in the program "From the Day" on BNT by the president of the Confederation of Bulgarian Trade Unions Plamen Dimitrov, who commented on the topic of the introduction of the euro.

"A few days ago we reported that the small basket has become more expensive over the last 7 months, but we cannot say that this is due to the introduction of the euro. I miss the heavy hand of the state, not as a legislator, but as a regulator. Here I want to congratulate the CPC, which has begun an analysis and investigation of the dairy products market. We have been repeating for a long time that things are very distorted there. This shows that work can be done", he added.

"Oil, rice, flour are the most expensive in the entire EU. Why - I have no answer or explanation. This should be done by the regulatory authorities and if there is no motivated explanation for the increase, sanctions should be imposed. We heard that the National Revenue Agency has issued 67 punitive decrees for violations of the Euro Law, but we do not know to whom. We also have to react as consumers, because the consumer is the most important regulator in the market", Plamen Dimitrov was categorical.
