Final stage of the consultations with the President Iliana Yotova for the acting Prime Minister. The Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Accounts Margarita Nikolova met with the head of state and then made a comment to the media, BNT reports.
"First of all, I want to say that I am very impressed by my meeting with the President. We had a very meaningful and in-depth conversation, during which I shared that during my hearing in March last year in parliament for the position of Deputy Chairman of the Court of Accounts, I was asked whether I was aware that the position I was applying for fell into the list of the "House Book", so-called, of potential acting prime ministers, and I answered that I was aware. In the same way, I confirmed to the president that I would fulfill my constitutional obligations. I believe that the president's choice is very limited by the so-called "House Book" and this choice is very difficult. I have proven that I can create working teams, I do not shy away from difficult decisions."
Earlier today, the Chairman of the Court of Accounts Dimitar Glavchev also held a conversation with President Yotova, after which he stated that he agreed to become the next acting Prime Minister.
The other Deputy Chairman of the Court of Accounts Silvia Kadreva has also been invited to a conversation on "Dondukov" 2 today.
