According to data from the National Seismological Center at the National Institute of Geophysics, Geodesy and Geography - BAS, on January 31, 2026, at 6:17 p.m., an earthquake with a magnitude of 3.0 was registered in the area of Burgas.
The epicenter is 10 km from the city of Aytos, 50 km from the city of Yambol and 330 km from the city of Sofia.
