The movement of heavy trucks with trailers and semi-trailers is prohibited through the "Prevala", "Rozhen" and "Pechinsko" passes and on the Devin - Mihalkovo and Batak - Dospat roads. 53 machines have been clearing the republican roads all night. They are passable in winter conditions. There are no reports of isolated settlements or people in distress.
Around midnight, a truck spun and hit the guardrail on the Sofia ring road in "Lyulin". No one was injured in the incident, but traffic from the "Struma" motorway in the direction of "Europe" motorway is blocked.
The road situation in Northwestern Bulgaria is tense. Traffic on the E-79 road between Vidin and Montana is blocked in several places due to accidents and self-crashed trucks. A passenger bus with 10 passengers, traveling from Montana to Belogradchik, also fell into the winter trap. It remained blocked all night. According to information from one of the passengers, at around 4:00 this morning, the bus driver still managed to take an alternative route and get out of the road blockade in the area.
