"Rumen Radev could have between 75-80 MPs. This is 1/3 of the MPs, if of course there are no blunders“.
This was said by mathematician Professor Nikolay Vitanov, who was a guest on the show "Delnitsi“ with host Nikolay Kolev.
Professor Vitanov explained that his claims are based on internal information received from sociological agencies, which showed him yet unpublished data.
"If we assume that these sociological surveys are true, he will take 1/3 of the votes, which means that there will be problems for the parties that currently have up to 20 mandates“, the guest also pointed out.
The mathematician developed his theory based on the memories of the former Minister of Trade Atanas Burov. In Burov's memoirs it was written that 2 million leva was enough for one MP to vote against the government. According to the guest, when it comes to a prime minister, the amount should be raised to 20 million leva or 10 million euros.
"Looking at the five candidates, there are two possible theories. One is the Long Hair Theory, and the other is the Short Hair Theory. If we apply the Long Hair Theory and add the additional requirement that the person has no connections with people who would offer him 10 million euros, then according to this theory the name of the caretaker prime minister should be Margarita Nikolova“, said Prof. Vitanov.
The scientist from the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences continued by saying that if the Short Hair Theory is applied, to which is again added the requirement that the person is not suspected of receiving 10 million euros, then the name of Dimitar Glavchev's other deputy - Silvia Kadreva - stands out. According to Professor Vitanov, one of the two ladies will be the next caretaker prime minister.
