The deputy chairmen of the parliamentary group of "DPS - New Beginning" Iskra Mihaylova and Erten Anisova, as well as MP Atidje Alieva-Veli, came to the meeting with the president of "Dondukov" 2.
"The latest changes in the Constitution stipulate a preliminary conversation with the candidates for acting prime minister and the parliamentary groups. These talks are very necessary," Yotova said.
She said that she must nominate one of the five who agreed to be the acting prime minister.
"The President has no choice and cannot bear responsibility for the election of the acting prime minister, it is up to the National Assembly, emphasized Iliana Yotova and recalled that according to the new amendments to the Constitution, the parliament works as a permanent body.
President Yotova is categorical that the most important task is the holding of fair and transparent parliamentary elections, but the country also has many important actions ahead in the coming months:
"The people at the protests demanded a rule of law and the holding of fair elections. After the changes to the Constitution, the National Assembly continues to be a permanent body. "How the caretaker cabinet will work depends on the political responsibility of the National Assembly," she added.
Iliyana Yotova also said that she and her team will do everything possible to hold the elections on the first date after the Easter holidays - April 19.
