Rainfall, in many areas – significant, will cover almost the entire country.
In the areas with code red, local amounts of about and over 60 liters per square meter are possible. In the western and central parts of Northern Bulgaria there will be ice.
Minimum temperatures in Northern Bulgaria and the high plains of Western Bulgaria will be between minus 6° and minus 1°, in the southern half of the country and along the Black Sea coast - between 1° and 6°, in Sofia - around minus 2°.
Maximum temperatures in the western and central parts of Northern Bulgaria will be between 0° and 2°, in the rest of the country, where there will be a moderate wind, and on the Black Sea coast - and temporarily strong southerly wind - between 5° and 11°, in Sofia - around 5°.
On Friday, the precipitation will temporarily stop, but later in the afternoon from the southwest it will rain again and precipitation, intense in many areas, will quickly cover the country. In the northwestern regions, the conditions for ice remain.
On Saturday, it will be mostly cloudy, but without significant precipitation, and the warming will continue.
On Sunday and Monday it will rain again and with the upcoming new and significant cold snap, the rain in many areas will turn into snow. A new snow cover will also form.
