Twelve days after the beginning of the “Petrokhan” tragedy, the investigation continues to uncover new details about Ivaylo Kalushev's closed community. Nova TV points to a new detail from the scene of the event - a black van parked near the blocked road to the hut. The vehicle was used by Kalushev's organization and was often driven by Ivaylo Ivanov, whose body was found in the burned-out building. However, there is conflicting information about whether forensics officers inspected this vehicle.
Witness V.A., who lived with Kalushev for 7 years, including in Mexico, describes Ivaylo Kalushev as “Lama” or “Guru”. “His word was like law, he was never questioned”, the witness claims. In his testimony, he also mentions sexual intercourse initiated by Kalushev, as well as his attitude towards suicide. According to the story, the leader of the group considered suicide “a bad thing”, but shared that if he had done it, he would have chosen “a gunshot to the head”.
New facts also emerge about the group's armament. In May 2023, Kalushev, Ivanov and Zlatkov provided the Montana police with their equipment - replicas of firearms used for war games and training in an unfinished building in the city. During the inspection of the “Petrokhan” hut itself However, numerous real weapons and cartridges were found, and three pistols and a carbine were found in front of the entrance.
The father of the deceased 15-year-old boy, Yani Makulev, also gave evidence to investigators. He expressed serious doubts about the authenticity of the video recordings of the “suicide” of the three in the hut, which were leaked onto the Internet. Makulev last saw his son in November, when he went to the hut.
The perimeter around the “Petrokhan” hut remains strictly blocked by the police.
