Under the influence of a deep Mediterranean cyclone, the weather will be cloudy with widespread, in places significant rainfall, in the northwestern regions and on the high fields in Western Bulgaria and snow.
A moderate, strong wind will blow in Northeastern Bulgaria from the east-northeast, in Southern Bulgaria from the east-southeast. In the evening, the wind will begin to orient itself from the northwest and intensify, bringing cold air with it. Maximum temperatures will be from 2°-3° in the northwestern regions to 10°-12° in the southeastern ones, in Sofia – around 5°. On Wednesday night, the precipitation will continue. In Northern and Western Bulgaria, it will snow and a snow cover will form.
On the Black Sea coast it will be cloudy, in many places with rain showers, which will continue on Wednesday night. A moderate wind will blow from the east-northeast. Maximum temperatures will be 6°-10°. The temperature of the sea water is 5°-7°. The sea waves will be 2-3 balls.
In the mountains it will be cloudy with snowfalls. Rain will fall in Strandzha and Sakar. In places, the precipitation will be significant in quantity. A strong wind will blow from the southern quarter, which will begin to orient from the north-northwest and intensify in the evening. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1200 meters will be about 2°, at 2000 meters – around minus 2°.
On Wednesday morning in the eastern and mountainous regions there will still be precipitation, with the continued cold snap the rain will turn into snow everywhere. By noon the precipitation will stop, and later the cloud cover will break up and decrease. It will be windy with a moderate to strong northwest wind. The minimum temperatures will be between minus 3° and 2°, and the maximum - between minus 1° and 4°, in the extreme southwestern regions up to 9°-10°.
On Thursday sunny weather will prevail. The wind will weaken, will orient itself from the south and with it it will warm up. In places in the lowlands and valleys it will be foggy or with low layered clouds.
