The fishing boat that disappeared from radar on Wednesday morning has been discovered. This was learned by bTV from its own sources.
The vessel with three people on board - 58-year-old captain Hristo Spasov, his 25-year-old son and another fisherman, was found on the seabed in the Maslen Nos area, where yesterday divers and volunteer fishermen conducted an inspection and discovered a significant amount of diesel fuel on the surface of the sea.
Yesterday it became clear that the depth in the area of the disappearance is about 38 meters.
According to bTV, a fishing vessel with a sonar system has detected the presence of a sunken ship at the location of the coordinates.
The bTV team spoke with the son of 58-year-old captain Hristo Spasov and the brother of the 25-year-old boy who is on board. According to him, they entered the sea to catch a shark, and he hopes for a miracle.
„My father does whatever he decides. My father is one of the most experienced captains – for him, there is no good or bad weather, gas inside. My brother has been working with him for 7 years“, said Hristiyan Spasov.
A helicopter from the Naval Helicopter Air Base “Chaika“ also joined the search operation. The frigate “Drazki“ is also participating in the search operations today, the Ministry of Defense announced.
