Borislav Sarafov is a legitimate Prosecutor General. The reason is that the deputies in the National Assembly do not want to elect a parliamentary quota in the Supreme Judicial Council in order to replace the Prosecutor General. This was stated by former constitutional judge Prof. Plamen Kirov in the program “Face to Face“ on BTV.
This law, which limits the mandate of the Prosecutor General to six months, was clumsily made. It was written on the knee and here are the consequences, he emphasized.
