We cannot know whether there were mistakes made in the investigation of the "Petrohan" case.
This was stated in the program "The Day Live" on NOVA NEWS by the former Minister of the Interior and Deputy Minister of Defense Valentin Radev.
"I have always maintained that one should trust the institutions and the police. In this investigation, there are so many expert opinions, people involved - how can anyone tip the scales in only one direction. That is why I trust the police. There is no way to explain everything right away. The fact is that the first press conferences were a bit vague and more information could have been given, but this case is so big, and let's not forget that it is impossible to say everything, because there may be more participants and they will also listen", he added.
"Nobody will drag us into war. The planes at the airport in Sofia belong to our strategic partner, who comes and does training. Even as a deputy minister, I have always said - the more American tanks, the better, but they will not come because they pay money for it. There is nothing wrong with conducting joint training with our partners, because this is how we improve the forces of the army. How will we become a legitimate target of Iran, which is 2,000 kilometers away? Currently, we are a legitimate target of Russia, which has declared us an enemy and hostile state", commented Valentin Radev on the topic of American planes in Sofia.
