Residents of four blocks in the capital's "Musagenitsa" neighborhood woke up with threatening notes that if they do not move their cars from the parking lot in front of the block, their cars will be forcibly moved, with the writer of the note specifying that he is not responsible for any damage caused during the move.

The author of the message remains unknown. A little later, people learn that the place where they have parked for years is now being fenced off by people who claim that the area is private property. Tensions rise and the police intervene.

Residents of the capital's neighborhood gathered on Friday morning to express their outrage and concern about where they will park their cars. According to them, the parking lot behind the block will also be liquidated because construction is starting. “Last week we woke up to this announcement under the windshield wipers of our cars. I have lived here for 50 years, I can say that this has always been a free parking lot, public and free”, says Neli Petkova, one of the residents of the neighborhood.

From the position of the mayor of the “Studentski” district; Petko Goranov, it is clear that after an inspection by the construction control authorities at the “Studentski” district, an order was issued to stop the activity. “The persons found did not have the necessary documents to prove ownership or legitimate authorization. The “Studentski” district informed that the terrain in question, although private, is intended for parking as part of the street regulation. "Other activities cannot be carried out on it," the position also says.

The request of the residents of the capital district is that the Municipality designate the place as a public parking lot, not as a green area.
