The people of Stara Zagora welcome the Third of March with the traditional and now memorable procession with the 300-meter national tricolor flag. The celebrations begin with a prayer service for Bulgaria in the cathedral church "St. Nikolay Mirlikiyski", and shortly after 10 a.m., wreaths and flowers will be laid simultaneously in front of every monument in the city dedicated to the Liberation, BNR reports.
After that, for another year, military personnel, residents and guests of Stara Zagorawill carry a 300-meter tricolor flag from the square in front of the Municipalityto the Memorial Complex "Defenders of Stara Zagora".
A city-wide celebration will take place at the foot of the monument, and this year the Bulgare"ensemble will also participate in it with a festive concert.
The monumental audiovisual spectacle "Memory" is the culmination of the events in Stara Zagora. The 3D mapping show dedicated to the city will start at 6:00 PM at the Memorial complex "Defenders of Stara Zagora".
On the occasion of the National Holiday, the Regional History Museum and other museum sites in Stara Zagora will operate with free admission, with exhibitions and children's creative workshops dedicated to the Liberation prepared for visitors, as well as demonstrations of weapons and militia uniforms.
Rumen Radev is also expected to participate in the celebration of the National Holiday in Stara Zagora. The president from 2017 to 2026 is also expected to announce details about his political project and his participation in the early parliamentary elections on April 19. From 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., the movement of private and public transport along the route of the national flag procession will be suspended.
