In connection with the holding of the solemn events on the occasion of March 3rd, a temporary traffic organization is being introduced in the central part of Sofia, the Sofia Municipality announced.
On 03.03.2026, the stay and parking of vehicles is prohibited, with the exception of cars providing the celebration:
- From 03:00 until the end of the event in the parking lot on "Nikolay Gyaurov".
From 03:00 until the end of the ceremony on 03.03.2026 g.: - "Vasil Levski";
- along Blvd. "Aksakov" in the section between Blvd. "Vasil Levski" and Tsar Shishman St.
Entry of vehicles in both directions, as well as stopping and parking (with the exception of vehicles providing for the ceremony) is prohibited as follows:
From 07:00 to 12:30 on 03.03.2026:
- along Oborishte St. between Vasil Levski Blvd. and St. St. Alexander Nevski";
- along Moskovska St. between Vasil Levski Blvd. and G. S. Rakovski St.;

- along 15-ti Novembri" ul. between "Tsar Osvoboditel" and Sq. "St. Al. Nevski".
From 14:00 until the end of the event on 03.03.2026:
- along "Tsar Osvoboditel" between Vasil Levski Blvd. and G. S. Rakovski St.; -along 15-ti Novembrie St.; between Tsar Osvoboditel Blvd. and St. St. Al. Nevski Sq.; -along Aksakov St. between Vasil Levski Blvd. and G. S. Rakovski St.; -along Tsar Shishman St.; between Slavyanska St. and National Assembly Sq.; -along 6th September St. between "Slavyanska" and "Tsar Osvoboditel";
- along "Hadzhi Dimitar" between "Vasil Levski" and Tsar Shishman St.
From 11:30 to 12:30 on 03.03.2026:

along Lege St. between Saborna St. and Atanas Burov Square. From 11:00 a.m. until the end of the artillery salutes on March 3, 2026, vehicles will be prohibited from entering the northwestern roadway of Evlogi and Hristo Georgievi Blvd. in the section between Tsar Osvoboditel Blvd. and Gen. Gurko St.
The paid parking zones in Sofia will not operate today, the Center for Urban Mobility reports.
