The large Airbus A330-203 of the Bulgarian airline Gullivair took off for Dubai at 1:30 p.m. This was reported to TravelNews by the carrier.
The plane is expected to land at “Al Maktoum International“ in Dubai at 8:38 p.m. local time. It has 326 seats. The airline received the necessary flight permits earlier today. It is expected to transport Bulgarian citizens who have previously expressed a desire to return this evening or tomorrow morning. The lists are being prepared by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Earlier this morning, a Boeing 737 plane of the airline “Bulgaria Air“ took off from “Vasil Levski“ Sofia airport to “Salalah International Airport“ in Oman. It is expected that it will make a return flight tomorrow and bring back some of our compatriots.
The state aviation operator will also fly to Abu Dhabi today with the government plane, which has a capacity of 90 seats.
The Ministry of Transport and Communications remains in constant coordination with the competent institutions and airlines to ensure the safe and timely return of all Bulgarian citizens who wish to return to the country.
The Ministry of Tourism is also in constant contact with tour operators.
