Deputy Minister of Energy and Executive Director of Kozloduy NPP Ivan Andreev will be heard about the escalating costs of carrying out annual scheduled repairs of units 5 and 6 this year.
After that, together with the Chairman of the Energy and Water Regulatory Commission Plamen Mladenovski, he will also speak about the increased electricity bills and the complaints filed by Bulgarian citizens.
Both hearings are at the request of MPs from Vazrazhdane.
The acting Minister of Energy Traycho Traykov will not participate due to an official engagement abroad. The MPs will vote on the second reading of the amendments to the Social Security Code, which introduce multi-funds into the supplementary mandatory pension insurance.
Last week, the vote was postponed due to a dispute over whether private pension companies should be allowed to invest in infrastructure projects.
The program also includes a discussion on the first reading of amendments to three more laws - on corporate income taxation, on railway transport and five draft amendments to the Criminal Code.
The Budget Committee in the parliament will consider the draft law on a new extension of last year's financial framework on the first reading.
It includes more flexible options for municipal spending and a request for money under the SAFE mechanism.
The so-called "extension law" is valid until March 31, and the new texts will be in force until the adoption of a regular financial framework. The 5 percent wage growth in the public sector is maintained.
The caretaker cabinet also proposes to increase the limit of the program for issuing debt on international markets to the same amount as presented by the regular cabinet.
Parliament authorizing the cabinet to conclude an agreement for defense projects financed by the European Commission is one of the changes in the extension law.
"These are funds that will enter Bulgaria in the amount of over 3 billion euros", explained Minister Georgi Klisurski to a question from the Bulgarian National Radio and promised a breath of fresh air for municipalities. They will be able to spend not only up to last year's levels, but if they have additional local taxes and fees collected, they will also be able to use this resource.
