Prime Minister Andrey Gyurov will participate in the Second Nuclear Energy Summit today in Paris.
The event aims to strengthen international cooperation on the development of safe and secure nuclear energy for civilian purposes in the context of growing electricity needs, the need to transition to a low-carbon economy and the desire to achieve energy sovereignty.
Within the framework of the forum, at the invitation of French President Emmanuel Macron, Prime Minister Gyurov will also participate in a meeting of European leaders, at which the European approach to nuclear energy and the electricity grid will be discussed.
The Prime Minister will be accompanied by Energy Minister Traycho Traykov.
