Rumen Petkov: The government acted criminally towards our compatriots - 1

Bulgaria must take very clear positions regarding the US and Israel's war against Iran. But above all, to stabilize things domestically. And I will say why. This is the government that acted most irresponsibly towards our compatriots. I would say criminally. This was stated in the studio of "The Day Begins" by Rumen Petkov, chairman of the "ABV" Party, part of "BSP - United Left" and deputy chairman of the left's election headquarters.

"The Foreign Minister announced on television that the government knew about the upcoming attack on Iran. Today I will ask the Prime Minister a question - what measures have they taken to bring Bulgarian citizens back from this critical region? Because they did not take any measures. And for this, not only political responsibility must be borne, but also judicial responsibility must be borne. Because this blow to Bulgarians is equal only to the blow by the government of Ivan Kostov to our medical workers in Libya. Then everyone brought back their medical workers - Poland, the Czech Republic and other countries. Only our Foreign Minister, you are young people, you probably don't remember, her name was Nadezhda Mihaylova at the time - did not bring back our medics and they spent years in prison. So we should not be condescending about these things, but we must be very clear and categorical."

Regarding the permission for American planes to position themselves at the Sofia airport, taken in the last days of the "Zhelyazkov cabinet, Petkov commented:

"We have had a sufficiently critical position regarding Bulgaria's foreign policy and the commitments that Prime Minister Zhelyazkov accepted at the time. And these critical arguments were also voiced by Mr. Krum Zarkov, including in Brussels. So the difference is quite serious and we should not underestimate the energy that "BSP - United on the Left" invested then and is investing now. In fact, we have a very big similarity between the government of Bulgaria and the government of the United States. We are becoming closer and closer. Bulgaria not a word about Petrokhan and pedophilia. In the United States not a word about Epstein and pedophilia. These are some similarities that I think should make us all think about who we are actually kurdishly appointing to govern us."

Rumen Petkov also commented on the topic of personnel changes in the Ministry of Internal Affairs

"This personnel pogrom that was carried out in the Ministry of Internal Affairs is, to some extent, only equal to the pogrom that Tsvetanov caused as Minister of Internal Affairs with the personnel changes. I will give two examples so that our audience understands. It is certainly very important that personnel changes be made in the National Railways in order to guarantee fair elections. I personally have no doubt about this. What is the place of the head of the Specialized Unit for Combating Terrorism in the organization of the elections? Our service for combating organized crime has received very serious recognition in the last year. They participated in joint operations with colleagues from Italy, Austria, and a number of European countries. Enterprises and factories for the illegal production of cigarettes were dismantled. Money and drug trafficking were dismantled. When I said money, I remembered. Now, should we support Ukraine's entry into the European Union? I believe that the European Commission will pressure Bulgaria to support Ukraine's entry into the European Union, without meeting any criteria. Such unprecedented corruption, the gold toilet, the truck with the money. Our media is somehow trying to get around this thing, which worries me to some extent."
