The Prosecutor's College will discuss the request of the Acting Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Justice Andrey Yankulov for the election of a new acting prosecutor general to replace Borislav Sarafov.
Before including the request as the last item on the agenda of the judicial personnel officers, Yankulov also raised the topic before the plenary session of the Supreme Judicial Council two weeks ago.
After 7 hours of debate, the majority decided that the competent body to decide on the temporary management of the state prosecution is precisely the Prosecutor's College.
