Balabanov on the "Petrohan-Okolchitsa" case: There was a state within the state - 1

The people's representative from "There is such a people" Stanislav Balabanov made sharp accusations against representatives of the coalition "We continue the change-Democratic Bulgaria" during a speech from the parliamentary rostrum. The reason for his reaction was the latest revelations in the "Petrohan" case and the activities of the "Kosmos" school.

Balabanov asked questions to former Prime Minister Nikolay Denkov and the MP from the PP-DB Elisaveta Belobradova, demanding explanations about their role in the registration and promotion of the school. According to him, the case shows serious problems that need to be clarified by the institutions.

„Where is Denkov? Where is Belobradova? "One registers, the other advertises," Balabanov said at the beginning of his declaration.

According to him, Nikolay Denkov is trying to distance himself from the registration of the "Kosmos" school, which, according to the deputy, was carried out in his last week as Minister of Education.

Balabanov pointed out that, according to information from the Ministry of Education and Science, a special commission had conducted an inspection of the school. A number of omissions and violations were identified during the inspection.

According to the data presented, part of the documentation was formally developed, complete information about the exams held was missing, and in some cases, documents for a completed class were issued without the necessary evidence of educational activity. The report also states that some of the teachers did not have the necessary professional degrees, but were engaged in activities related to the so-called "natural psychology" and spiritual practices.

According to Balabanov, the inspection also found the absence of student absence registers, as well as the issuance of education documents without the relevant documentation.

“The documents have been provided to the prosecutor's office“, he said.

In his statement, the MP from the ITN also claimed that a person with the surname Kalushev took children from the school to the “Petrokhan“ hut, where, according to him, activities described as “exaltation“ were taking place.

Balabanov also criticized MP Belobradova, pointing out that the school was promoted through the website of the “Maiko Mila“ foundation.

According to him, the tuition fee at the school was several thousand euros per child, and parents were not always aware of how training is underway.

At the end of his speech, the deputy called for the case to be fully clarified by the institutions and stated that such practices should not be allowed. “We will not allow such atrocities in this country anymore“, said Balabanov.
