Citizens organized a peaceful protest in front of the Courthouse in Sofia demanding that the truth be revealed about the "Petrohan" and "Okolchitsa" cases. The event was organized by Ralitsa Asenova, mother of Nikolay Zlatkov, one of the deceased, and by the relatives and friends of the other deceased, BTA indicated.
The police presence in the area has been increased, and traffic is restricted. The relatives refused to speak to the media.
The protesters are wearing yellow hearts because that was Nikolay Zlatkov's favorite color. They chant “The Truth Today”.
On February 2, three bodies were found shot in the area of the “Petrohan” hut. Subsequently, three more people were declared wanted, all of whom were associated with a non-governmental organization. Its members lived in the “Petrohan” hut. A few days later, the wanted people were also found shot in the area of Mount Okolchitsa. One of the main versions of the investigators is murder with subsequent suicide or suicide.
