Venko Sabrutev: We have opened our lists for the protest - 1

The lists are ready, we will register them today. The lists are arranged according to the quota principle, with each party making its own internal selection. We have not interfered in the decision of other parties. This is absolutely incorrect, said the MP from "Continuing the Change - Democratic Bulgaria" (PP-DB) Venko Sabrutev in "The Day Begins" on BNT.

Venko Sabrutev, "Continuing the Change": As we promised in "Continuing the Change", we have opened our lists for the protest. The big news is the entry of Mr. Velichkov, Velislav Velichkov from "Justice for All". He will be on our list in the 24th MIR. Naturally, a citizen quota, but from the position of "We Continue the Change"."

According to Sabrutev, the lists are arranged according to a quota principle, with each party making its own internal selection. Regarding the case with Yavor Bojankov and Daniel Lorer, the MP denied that the PP interfered in the election of "Democratic Bulgaria". He recalled that both were PP nominations.

Venko Sabrutev, "We Continue the Change": "We have not interfered in the decision of other parties. This is absolutely incorrect. Regarding Mr. Bojankov and Mr. Lorer, since they are both in a package, in general, they are a decision of the National Council. The National Council of "We Continue the Change" clearly, categorically said, unanimously, that there can be no people on our lists who were excluded either by the party or by the coalition.

Yes, but they are nominations of "Democratic Bulgaria". In essence, you are telling "Democratic Bulgaria", you cannot include the people you have judged.

Well, that's not true. In fact, they were nominations from "We Continue the Change" and since these people are no longer somehow recognized by our structures, I will just tell you, our National Council, these are over 100 people from all over Bulgaria, categorically voted and then re-voted."

Venko Sabrutev added that the upcoming elections are extremely important.

Venko Sabrutev, "We continue the change":"We have a chance for the first time in the last 15 years to elect a new composition of the Supreme Judicial Council and from there a new Prosecutor General. A real Prosecutor General. Not a puppet. And the battle of the Status Quo, the battle of the mafia will be fierce. There is a chance that GERB and MRF will have less than 80 deputies, which essentially guarantees that there will be a Supreme Judicial Council without GERB and MRF. This is the mafia's great fear. We need 121 MPs who can start making real reforms from day one."

Regarding a possible interaction with Rumen Radev in the new parliament, Sabrutev once again emphasized that it is not known what Rumen Radev is actually proposing.

Regarding the attempts to attribute the caretaker government to the PP-DB, Venko Sabrutev explained that it belongs to Andrey Gyurov:

Venko Sabrutev, "We continue the change": "We support him, we fully support all the good things he is doing. You see that they are fulfilling their main function. To ensure fair elections. This involves changing regional governors, changing the Ministry of Interior, because these are two mega-critical bodies."

Venko Sabrutev also said that the PP-DB will raise in parliament the issue of changing the composition of the Energy and Water Regulatory Commission, due to the record electricity bills, which, in his words, are the result of corruption and the influence of Boyko Borisov and Delyan Peevski in the Energy and Water Regulatory Commission.
