The body of a 73-year-old woman was found in the waters of the Danube River in the area of the rowing base in Vidin, the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Interior announced.
Yesterday at around 3:00 p.m., police officers found the body near the shore.
During the initial examination, investigators found no evidence of violent death. The body was transported for an autopsy to the Vidin hospital.
The woman is a local resident and was declared wanted on March 14, the police in Vidin specified.
