The Central Election Commission has adopted new methodological guidelines for the work of section election commissions. They differ depending on whether the section is in the country or abroad, as well as on the type of voting - only with paper ballots or mixed and with machines. These changes are important for ensuring transparency and efficiency in the election process.
The guidelines are structured in 4 parts. The Deputy Chairman of the CEC Emil Voinov added:
"Part one - pre-election day, part two - election day, part three - action after the election day closes, part four - handing over the papers and materials by the three members of the SIC, the District Election Commissions and the municipal administrations.
The methodological instructions were repeatedly discussed in a working group and differ from those adopted so far. They are structured in such a way as to facilitate the members of the Section Election Commissions in fulfilling their duties".
The adopted methodological instructions have not yet been published on the CEC website, but from the discussions it became clear that the bags with the ballot papers and those with the election materials, which are in different colors (white and black), will be sealed with seals. The CEC assigns their production to the government.
