Although different in their content, “coalition” and “concession” are not words that scare the candidate for MP from “Progressive Bulgaria” Anton Kutev.
“I am a person who was against concessions. That is, against the form in which they exist here. Do they scare me now? No. I would say that concessions can be good, as long as they are done like people. For the coalition - in the same way. The question is not in the words and in whether there will be concessions and coalitions, although they are completely different in content, the question is in how they are made. If they are made properly, with the national state Bulgarian interest in question, then they are completely possible. I do not agree that the state is a bad manager and I think that it can govern well”, he said in an interview for “Face to Face”.
“With the currently collapsing world order, with attempts to duplicate the function of the UN, we must defend the Bulgarian interest in the first place. It is clear that we are members of NATO and the EU - this is by no means accidental or unimportant”, Kutev also commented.
He calculated that the controlled and bought vote in Bulgaria is equal to no more than 200,000 votes, which is not small at all given the low voter turnout. That is why he called on people to vote and "erase" the effect of electoral trading.
Anton Kutev emphasized that "Progressive Bulgaria" has no intention of replacing the current oligarchy with another. According to him, they are the only ones who can bring about a change in the status quo.
