A woman with Russian citizenship was detained after a report that she was offering 30 euros to vote in favor of a specific party before the upcoming elections, the acting mayor announced. Secretary General of the Ministry of Interior Georgi Kandev on his Facebook profile.
The signal was received by e-mail of the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Interior - Stara Zagora.
When searching the address where he lives, lists of polling stations on the territory of the municipality of Stara Zagora were found and seized, with the number of votes for one specific political party written against each station, Kandev added.
Euro banknotes of different denominations were also found.
The case was reported to the District Prosecutor's Office - Stara Zagora.
