"We are working on the launch of a passenger railway connection between Ukraine and Bulgaria via Romania", said Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister Oleksiy Kuleba during his meeting with Bulgarian Minister of Transport and Communications Korman Ismailov in Kiev on his "Telegram" channel.

"The goal is to conduct a test start this summer in a trilateral format," Kuleba noted.
He indicated that a separate focus is the development of strategic transport corridors, the Danube cluster and automobile infrastructure.
We will continue to cooperate in the field of road transport and we will work on holding a meeting of the joint commission, the Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister added.
During the meeting, the representatives of Ukraine and Bulgaria also discussed digital solutions, in particular the electronic queue at the border.
"We discussed cooperation in the field of shipping safety in the Black Sea. We expect to agree on an intergovernmental agreement on maritime search and safety this year," Kuleba emphasized.
The Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister expressed gratitude to the Bulgarian minister for the constructive dialogue and the common vision for the development of cooperation in the transport sector.
