Last hours for political parties to submit their annual financial statements for 2025, Nova TV reports. The Court of Auditors announced that despite the deadline, they are still waiting for the financial statements of 54 parties. They remind that those who do not do so or are late risk being fined.
In addition to the reports for the past year, political parties must also submit standard declarations containing lists of individuals who made donations.
Those who do not do so or are late in submitting the documents may be sanctioned with from 2,556 to 5,112 euros. In addition, they lose their right to state subsidies, with the sanction remaining in effect until the next parliamentary elections.
