Denkov on the agreement with Ukraine: There are no specific commitments in it, no financial commitments - 1

Before elections, all sorts of nonsense is being said. These planes were at the airport even before this government appeared and it is not ours, this is the caretaker government of Bulgaria, appointed by President Yotova. Today it was made very clear that this note was answered to the Iranian government, there are normal diplomatic relations, there is no threat to Bulgaria. Our country does not participate in any activities related to the attacks in Iran.
This was said by the candidate for deputy from the PP-DB, academician Nikolay Denkov, in the studio of "Denyat ON AIR".

Gyurov's legitimacy He is categorical that Andrey Gyurov is a legitimate caretaker prime minister: "Another lie, in which it is claimed that the opinion questions whether Gyurov is legitimate - there is a case that is going on in the European Court. This case is the only one that can ultimately determine whether Gyurov has any problems".
Bulgaria and Ukraine signed a 10-year security agreement, which also provides for joint production in the defense sector.

"I reviewed it carefully. It can be called a framework agreement of intentions. There are no specific commitments in it, no financial commitments, these are intentions to talk about certain topics. It is interesting to see that some of these topics can be quite useful for Bulgaria. One of them is related to transport infrastructure. Another thing that is written inside is that Ukraine will share techniques and technologies that it develops from the point of view of military operations. The general opinion is that this is one of the best armies in the world, if not the best for its size", Denkov added on the air of Bulgaria ON AIR.
Joint work on demining the Black Sea
The former prime minister is of the opinion that Bulgaria could learn a lot and develop its defense capabilities from Ukraine.

"The third intention described there is for joint work on demining the Black Sea. If we want to develop trade immediately after the military operations stop, the first thing we will need is a safe road. Separately, there is participation in the reconstruction of Ukraine when the war there ends. The long term of the agreement can be discussed", the candidate for MP emphasized.
The goals of the PP-DB
Acad. Denkov explained that for their party it is key to see whether several bills can unite the parties in the National Assembly when forming the next government.

"One of them may be related to the immediate removal of the acting Prosecutor General. The second may be the removal of Peevski and Borisov's security, because there is no reason for them to have security. It is important where Radev will position himself - whether he will share the portions with Borisov, or we will actually start blocking these mechanisms related to public procurement", he explained.
The guest explained that they do not support GERB on shale gas.

"The only thing that interests us is the Bulgarian national interest. It consists of two main things - to have as developed a defense as possible, and here the interaction with Ukraine is obviously something that will increase Bulgarian defense in case of attacks. The second thing that interests us is that the war be as far away from Bulgaria as possible," commented Nikolay Denkov.
