Forecasters from the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences have announced a yellow code throughout Bulgaria for dangerously strong wind. It is in effect for Wednesday.
The atmospheric pressure will increase slightly and will be slightly higher than the average for the month. During the night of Wednesday in some places - mainly in the eastern regions, rain will fall, while over the rest of the country the cloudiness will decrease. The wind from the west-northwest will weaken slightly and will be weak and moderate. The minimum temperatures will be between 5 and 10 degrees.
On Good Wednesday, a moderate and strong northwest wind will blow. Cold air will invade with it. Sunny weather will prevail with temporary increases in cloudiness, mainly over Eastern Bulgaria and in places there will be rain showers. Maximum temperatures will be between 10 and 15°. They will be higher in the extreme southwestern regions.
Sunny weather will prevail in the mountains. There will be more significant increases in cloudiness over the massifs of the eastern half of the country and in places there will be snow. A strong and stormy northwest wind will blow, bringing cold air and temperatures will drop during the day. The maximum at 1200 meters will be about 6°, and at 2000 meters - about -2.
Along the Black Sea coast, cloudiness will be more often significant and in places there will be rain showers. A moderate and strong wind will blow from the north-northwest. Maximum temperatures will be between 11 and 14 degrees. The temperature of the sea water is 8-11°. The sea waves will be 2-3 points.
