A hearse carrying a deceased person from Germany crashed into a car at the exit of Ruse at the intersection in the direction of Razgrad. The hearse was transporting the deceased's body to his relatives, bTV reported.
On the wet road, the hearse hit the left side of the car, which was thrown onto the island at the intersection.
Three ambulances, police and a fire department were sent to the scene. Three people were traveling in the hearse, who took turns driving from Germany to Bulgaria. Two of them were injured, as was the driver of the car.
They were taken to hospital with concussions and various injuries, but not life-threatening. The injured are three men – aged 45, 47 and 24.
A police team remains on duty at the scene, as another hearse is expected to be sent to transfer the body of the deceased and continue to his family. The causes of the accident are being clarified, and traffic is difficult.
