"Things are not going well, although there is talk that we will have GDP growth. Yes, it may be minimal, but it will not be what the politicians' calculations indicate. Things, not only for Bulgaria and Europe, but for the whole world, are going down. This is very dangerous, we are heading towards a total economic crisis. Stagnation with rising inflation - it's getting very scary," Mika Zaikova was categorical.
"If they become humane and finally come to an agreement to end these wars, there is a chance for a way out, but watching how Trump changes his mind every 5 minutes... I hope they come to an agreement sooner," the economist added.
"Even if the war stops tomorrow, prices will never return to this level," predicted Mika Zaikova.
"In any case, inflation and prices will go up. This is catastrophic for Bulgaria," she said.
