PP-DB insists on radical judicial reform and cuts to the administration - 1

The judicial system is one of the great failures - the service personnel of the previous rulers. Back in 2012, DSB proposed a bill to change the functioning of the Supreme Judicial Council. It should be composed of acting magistrates - an extremely important priority that can be resolved at the legislative level. This was said in the studio of “Hello, Bulgaria“ by DSB chairman Atanas Atanasov, who is second on the list of “We Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria“ in the 23rd MIR in Sofia.

“I cannot understand from Rumen Radev's words where he positions himself. That is why after the elections we must negotiate to see if our priorities coincide. PP-DB overthrew the corrupt government by organizing the protests. There can be no cooperation with the previous rulers. The anti-corruption and geostrategic lines are the most important for us. The second prevails, although both are very important“, commented Atanasov.

He called for the option of new early elections not to be allowed yet. “After negotiations between the formations in the newly formed parliament, a unification of priorities may be reached. However, the talks must be held in detail, there should be no clichés. We cannot support “a cat in a bag”. Rumen Radev, if he wins the elections, must clearly put his priorities on the table. We will do what is necessary to have regular power, but not at any cost - we will not give up on our values. We can only agree with GERB on a radical judicial reform, because the judiciary has been usurped“, believes Atanasov. He pointed out that PP-DB is proposing between 10 and 15% cuts in the administration.

Candidate-MP Katya Paneva, who is second on the PP-DB list in the 25th MIR in Sofia, emphasized the coalition's anti-corruption measures. “We have not heard Rumen Radev clearly say who he is fighting against and what his measures are. Bulgaria must be a more active participant in European decisions, this is our unchanging value. There is no way we can be in a majority with GERB, we have proven that we cannot be a crutch“, said Paneva.

According to her, among the priorities of PP-DB are improving economic conditions, low taxes, increasing incomes and investments.
