Video surveillance during the counting of ballots is included in the polling stations

The cameras are turned on immediately after the chairman of the section declares the election day over, the Ministry of Electronic Governance (MEG) explains. Video surveillance at 8:00 p.m. was turned on by 682 sections out of a total of 11,653, the Ministry of Electronic Governance (MEG) announced, quoted by BTA. It can be watched live on evideo.bg, the department states.

From this moment, for the next half hour, signals for the video broadcast will be sent to the Central Election Commission (CEC), the MEU and the regional election commissions every five minutes, and after 20:30 - every 10 minutes.
