P26: PP and DB officially split - 1

P26 learned extremely important and interesting information. According to it, yesterday evening it was officially decided that the coalition between “Continue the Change” and “Democratic Bulgaria” should be terminated.

P26's information was confirmed by several independent sources, all of whom agree that the main reason for the “divorce” lies in the irreconcilable desire of the co-chairman of the Democratic Party Ivaylo Mirchev to become the sole leader of the future “democratic opposition”, p26.bg revealed.

The separation is also due to the fact that the PP feels cheated by the DB due to the inadequate arrangement of the electoral lists. Analysis shows that at the moment the DB will have 20 deputies, and the PP with three fewer - 17. This at least shows the current picture, although it is not known whether there will be traitors in both groups who will transfer from one to the other.

However, all these arguments are only formal, and the real reasons can be found deeper. The PP is extremely dissatisfied with the policy applied, both in the previous and these elections, for the election with preferences. According to them, this method was much more in favor of the DB than the PP.

According to information from P26, the categorical decision on the future separation of the two political forces was made at a secret meeting yesterday. On Wednesday evening, the leadership of “Continue the Change” gathered in a closed and secret meeting in a small hotel in the Beli Iskar area. Yesterday, they conducted a detailed analysis of the election results and their relationship with the DB, and generally came to the conclusion that they are not on equal footing. The PP also concluded that the coalition's failure was also due to the lack of adequate and meaningful political messages to the citizens, which were completely replaced by the internal struggle for elective positions.
