A team of neurosurgeons performed an emergency operation last night on a 14-year-old boy who was injured in an accident in the NDK area. The operation lasted until late at night. After it, the boy was placed in intensive care, where the fight for his life continues. His condition is extremely serious, Nova TV specifies.
We recall that the incident occurred on Friday at around 6 p.m. There were other teenagers around the child, and witnesses spoke of contact between them. Police and emergency teams immediately arrived at the scene. The boy was taken to "Pirogov" in extremely serious condition and was placed in a Children's Anti-Shock Ward in a coma, with altitude trauma.
The Sofia Municipality announced that, according to initial information, the injured boy and his friends were sitting on the balcony railing. Other children were pushing the railing itself, which collapsed and caused the incident.
