Mehmed Dikme: There can be no such thing as "shops for the people" - 1

The people are making fun of both the minister and the people who made the decision for "shops for the people". There can be no such thing in a market economy and it should be on stable foundations. This was stated by former Minister of Agriculture Mehmed Dikme in the program "Face to Face" on BTV.

Every state money is valuable, especially when there is a shortage for pensions, for education, for healthcare. They could be used to fill other holes in the budget. This is a big advertisement of pseudo concern for society in view of the elections, when everyone knew in advance that nothing serious would come of it, he believes.

If someone wanted to do something serious, the only way the state could react is to give properties that are no longer needed. Before that, a cooperative of non-governmental organizations should be formed, that is, people from the processing sector, from producers, as is the case in Italy, Austria, Germany, and France. These are models that have been established for decades. Only Bulgaria has not implemented them. The state can give them municipal land where they can build such stores. The Bulgarian National Bank should not give strictly defined people some colossal loans that they cannot repay, if it has to give them interest-free loans so that they can build. Only when they are built can we meet producers and consumers at one stand, suggests Dikme.

Personally, I did not expect such a grandiose success from Radev, I'm sure he did too. The fact that Radev was preparing himself as the person who is the counterbalance to the status quo and that he was the person who would destroy it. By supporting Radev, the people voted against the Peevski-Borisov tandem. They did not support "We continue the change" (PP), because the PP had previously made a compromise with both Peevski and Boyko. The bitter wine will still be drunk by the ruling party, because Radev and his team will now bear the negatives of the government. From now on, if expectations are not met, the negatives will pile up more and more. PP, if they stop digging, because they, together with the DB, have reached the bottom, they can be a strong and cohesive organization that can be an alternative, explained Mehmed Dikme.

The people said two things in these elections - we want the status quo to be destroyed and we do not want Boyko and Delyan. Thank God that Boyko felt it and that day in front of the structures he said: “I take all the blame”. This is how you do leadership, he emphasized.

The DPS received the weakest result in its history. If it continues like this in the next parliament, the DPS will not get more than 16-17% in the next parliament, Dikme predicted. I have always supported Delyan Peevski, because he was the only one who could overthrow Ahmed Dogan and he did it, the former Minister of Agriculture specified.
