Today, increased traffic is expected on the entire national road network, as May 1 is a holiday. At the exits of Sofia, traffic will traditionally be intense on the "Trakia", "Hemus" and "Struma" highways.
According to forecast data, around 111,000 cars are expected to leave the capital today. The most traffic jams are expected until noon. Between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m., the movement of vehicles over 12 tons leaving Sofia will be restricted.
