The preparation of the beaches on the Southern Black Sea Coast for the summer season has already begun. Some of the beaches are having difficulty restoring the damage after the heavy rains in the Burgas region in October, and among the most seriously affected is the beach in Kraimorie, where the sea washed away a large part of the beach. The beach is currently being leveled in preparation for the first tourists, BNT revealed.
Although the summer season has not yet begun, beach owners are preparing extremely hard to welcome the first tourists and are making enormous efforts to restore their strips after the rains, storms and torrential rains in the autumn of last year.
"The northern part of the beach, about an acre and a half of the sandy strip was pushed away by the previous rains. October was a disaster. In Kraimorie, the sand was carried away from the coast into the sea. In other places, gullies were made with a width of about 3, between 3 and 5 meters. The shore was stripped bare to the ground," explained Nikolay Dimitrov, concessionaire of the "Kraimorie" beach, BNT reports.
The price of an umbrella and a sunbed will be 5 euros each, said the concessionaire of the "Kraimorie" beach.
"5 euros umbrella, 5 euros sunbed. This price also includes a blanket and a table, which are part of the set," added Dimitrov
