The National Security Council (NSC) is not a rapid response headquarters. It is a consultative strategic body, written into the Constitution. And by law it must be convened once every 3 months.
The presidential couple Radev-Yotova systematically violates the law on the National Security Council. Yotova has not convened it once in 7 months, and Radev has convened it only four times during his second term.

Democratic Bulgaria has publicly demanded the convening of the KSNS many times - in 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 and already several times in 2026.
Today Yotova asked why we did not ask for the KSNS earlier in the year - almost as if our request now is an attack on the government.
Tell some advisor to run a search or ask ChatGPT - in early March this year, we are asking the DB to convene the KSNS, during the caretaker government. One of the topics is the risks of the conflict in Iran.
