The second mandatory matriculation exam from the August-September session is taking place today, August 24. High school graduates who have chosen a profile subject for their second state matriculation exam will enter the exam halls at 8:30 a.m..
In parallel with the matriculation exam, the mandatory state exam for acquiring a professional qualification will also take place. Today, students will take the theory part of the profession, while the practical exam is scheduled for a separate period.
With today's matriculation exam, the remedial exam session for high school graduates continues. It began on August 21 with the exam in Bulgarian language and literature, for which nearly 7,000 applications were submitted.
After the mandatory matriculation exams, optional exams are also coming up. They will be held between August 25 and 28.
The final results of the state matriculation exams in the August-September session are expected to be announced by September 4.
